The MetaCodec™ System is a complete Video Information System that manages high quality MPEG-2 footage from multiple live camera sources. The video streams are indexed via precision metadata (tracking or other information) and can be automatically and simultaneously, queried, retrieved, and assembled by multiple clients.
Useful in numerous applications, the MetaCodec™ System is especially suited
for theme parks, sports venues, and large entertainment events. A small,
credit-card sized device worn by participants in an event interact with a
wireless tracking network to provide positioning metadata. This data allows
MetaCodec™ to instantly sort through hours of video footage and create
personalized DVD movies. Customers can preview and order their movies at
automatic kiosks or from the Internet using their privacy ID codes.
